I love this song. I think its funny and kinda catchy. I think it is more making fun of stereotypes about Romas. I know that Gipsy.CZ talks a lot about civil rights stuff and encourages Roma to get educated both in and outside of their music so a line like Words ain’t key to me I can’t think that easily Is kind of a joke. On the flip side of that “Supergipsy” is a comic and lighthearted but I think genuine attempt to create a positive Roma role model, to say hey we can fight crime and save the day too. Also English is probably not this Czech band’s first language so they say their sentence structure differently more like Russian and it sounds funny, reminds me of my grandpa. I am not sure why this nband and many other bands who are in Eurovision do their songs in English.

I just realized that there is something very Queen-like in the melody of the C-part of the song (is that what it’s called?).

“I feel something wrong
Made us separate the world on pieces
We got eyes and we still stay all so blind”

Don’t you think? He even kinda looks like Freddie. 😀 haha
