In December 2007, Hind was chosen internally to represent the Netherlands in Belgrade. On 7th March 2008, her song Your Heart Belongs To Me, was represented to the Dutch public in a TV show Thank God It’s Friday.
During the past three months she received several compositions on account of open invitations for a song that she would sing at Eurovision Song Contest but, eventually, she decided to choose one of her earlier songs. Hind wrote “Your Heart Belongs To Me” together with Tjeerd van Zanen en Bas van den Heuvel five years ago. It is a pop song, in English, with oriental influences.
