Kraljevi ulice & 75 cents to represent Croatia at Eurovision Song Contest 2008

Kraljevi uliceAfter winning the semi-final, Kraljevi ulice & 75 cents – Romanca got the most votes from the jury and also won the televoting at the final of Croatian National Contest Dora 2008.

Antonija Sola with Gdje je srce tu je dom (Home is Where the Heart is) came in second.

Apart from the fact that, surprisingly, all the songs were one worse than the other, one thing is for sure, Croatia will have the oldest contestant ever to enter the Eurovision Song Contest!

The band Kraljevi ulice was established in Zagreb in 1987. Like their name says, The Street Kings (kraljevi ulice) mostly play in the streets and city squares. The band traveled around Europe during their career and had many successful shows in almost all bigger cities of the old continent.
Their songs can be classified into urban (starogradska muzika) or old Zagreb music.
