After three semi-finals, and the big final last night (9th February) in Oslo, Norwegian televoters and juries have finally decided on a song to represent Norway in Belgrade.

Eight songs had made it to the Melodi Grand Prix 2008 and the first round of televoting has eliminated the following four

1. Ann-Mari Andersen – Andagazzi
2. CRASH! – Get Up
3. Ole Ivars – Som I Himmelen
4. Tinkerbells – Hold On

The “Golden finalists” were:

1. Maria Haukaas Storeng – Hold On Be Strong
2. Torstein Sødal – Eastern Wind
3. King of Trolls – Far Away
4. Veronica Akselsen – Am I Supposed To Love Again

Norwegian preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008:

Maria Haukaas Storeng with Hold On Be Strong won the national final and will sing for Norway at 53rd Eurovision Song contest
