Eurovision 2009 Winner

Lyrics and Video:

Years ago, when I was younger,
I kinda liked a girl I knew.
She was mine, and we were sweethearts
That was then, but then it’s true

I’m in love with a fairytale,
even though it hurts
‘Cause I don’t care if I lose my mind
I’m already cursed.

Every day we started fighting,
every night we fell in love
No one else could make me sadder,
but no one else could lift me high above

I don’t know what I was doing,
when suddenly, we fell apart
Nowadays, I cannot find her
But when I do, we’ll get a brand new start

I’m in love with a fairytale,
even though it hurts
‘Cause I don’t care if I lose my mind
I’m already cursed

She’s a fairytale
Yeah…
Even though it hurts
‘Cause I don’t care if I lose my mind
I’m already cursedAlexander-Rybak-Norway

Prevod na srpski

Bajka

Pre mnogo godina, kad sam bio mlađi,
Nekako mi se sviđala jedna devojka koju sam znao.
Ona je bila moja, i bili smo zaljubljeni
To je bilo onda ali sada je tačno da

Zaljubljen sam u bajku,
Iako to boli
Jer nije me briga ako izgubim razum

Zaljubljen sam u bajku,
Iako to boli
Jer nije me briga ako izgubim razum
Već sam proklet.

Ona je bajka
Da…
Iako to boli
Jer nije me briga ako izgubim razum
Već sam proklet.

  1. hola soy de Mèxico y me encanta Alexander, canta genial es uno de mis favoritos.
    1 España Soraya
    2 Noruega Alexander
    3 Turquia Hadise

  2. I really liked it… all the others are so “once again the same melodies” either ballads or greek-turkish melodies (even Spain did so this year!!! porque???) combined with some excitment to sound a bit disco dancing. This song, even though has a sad theme, is sang in an optimistic was and the guy fights for his sweetheart! The melody is uplifting and I wish Norway well as well as to everybody who has a fairytale well kept in your heart.

  3. I’m in love with THIS fairytale! It makes me dream every time I hear it. Great melody, very nice story, excellent dancers. Alexander is super! Congratulations! I hope he’ll be the winner.

  4. No..No..I don’t like this. The only parts which are quite good are the parts when he doesn’t sing XD cause the melody they play then is nice..
But I don’t really like the song nor the lyrics..Don’t know why some people are so excited with this, but oh well, different tastes….

  5. I bet that not only me will vote for Alex…
He IS not only superb but he’s also really natural .

….and 12 points goes to Norway! No more fairytales!

  6. Great song! I hope he’ll win!!! It’s definitely the best song on this Eurovision Song Contest! Romania an Turkey ….hm…..I don’t like Romania’s song…Dum, tek tek isn’t so bad, but there are better songs…
    1.Norway
    2.Macedonia
    3.Greece
4.Spain, Bosnia, Croatia, Turkey, Denmark, Cyprus and maybe Belarus (little) :)) and of course Serbia 😉

  7. he is sooo sweet omg!!! really nice.. but i like more Romania with the balkan girls… greating from holland:D

  8. Alexander Rybak is the best! The song’s music is very simple, but it is very sweet and in the same time has very much energy! Alexander, you can be sure you’ll have 12 points from each east-slavic country (Russia, Ukrania, Belarus) and from the each country where russians live, because your music is very heartfelt.
I know you’ll be the eurovision contest’s winner!!! Good luck!!!

  9. Congratulations!!!This song is excellent!!!
And Alexander is perfect with the violin!!!!I ADORE IT…..
    I wish the best…Good luck!!! 🙂

  10. i love Sakis and Greece but..i think that Norway’s song is just perfect!!Don’t tell me about dum tek tek…MERCI!!

  11. OMG!Norway is going to loose agein!!!
I vote for butterfly by Tone not him!!

  12. this song good but it isn’ fit Eurovision song contest I think Turkey’s song is wonderful and I am sure Turkey will win but I from Norway 😀

  13. Alexander is the most adorable creature in the Eurovision song contest ever. Fairytale is a “happy- go lucky” song, typical Norwegian nationalism, but still catchy and extremely charming.
    -The dancers FRIKAR are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. It’s so sweet that he sings “when I was younger”, because that’s the way you feel when you are 22, that you were so much younger.

  15. Seems a bit silly that he’s singing “Years ago, when I was younger” cause he is 22 for God’s sake! But.. I love the song and the energy… 12 points for Norway! : )
