When I was a kid I was into Selma Lagerlöf’s books. She is a Swed who published many children’s books. In some books, there was illustrations representing children in the stories. Alexander can not resemble more to those boys in the stories. It is as if he jumped out of one of my story books that I had 30 years ago 🙂 (I am a bit old I guess). Anyway, the minute I saw him he reminded me Lagerlöf’s great stories and lovely illustrations of Scandinavian kids. Good luck to Alex for the rest of his career. Love from Turkey.

RE: ozge. Thanks for the note dear Ozge. You know what I think ,Eurovision is a song contest… so I really don’t have any mind to say something bad about Turkish song,it was rhythmic…
What about the Greeks they are pioneer in music and them Pythagorean discovered the octave and build the actual gamma.About Turkish music the rhythm is a north African rhythmic that probably must come from Muslim cultures.What about Armenian gamma you can maybe know that it don’t have equal.
Anyway each countries have their own music and culture different from each others.But they all can be nice and interesting in there way.So I can say that Norway deserved to be the FIRST, it was really very very CUTE and KIND FAIRYTALE :)) And also I liked the idea of Israel song !!!!

I think the song is very cute, as is Alexander, and he made it charming with his facial expressions. The lyrics are not perfect, but the sentiment is there, and I think we can all relate to being in love with someone we can’t have… The violin was the highlight of the song. Congratulations, Alexander… We’re proud and happy for you!

dear Kristina Frangulyan, i am from turkey and the armenian song sounded like turkish song because in turkish music history we have turkish folk music just sounds like this and probably people from turley who listened to that reminded of those turkish songs. plus ofcourse it is going to sound alike turkish and armenian people lived together so long that we have so much in common like greece. i wouldnt be angry with that comment that much if i were you because it means nothing plus even spain used the same rthymic music notes that we have in our music(turkish music) meaning that music is global.
