Eurovision 2009 Winner

Lyrics and Video:

Years ago, when I was younger,
I kinda liked a girl I knew.
She was mine, and we were sweethearts
That was then, but then it’s true

I’m in love with a fairytale,
even though it hurts
‘Cause I don’t care if I lose my mind
I’m already cursed.

Every day we started fighting,
every night we fell in love
No one else could make me sadder,
but no one else could lift me high above

I don’t know what I was doing,
when suddenly, we fell apart
Nowadays, I cannot find her
But when I do, we’ll get a brand new start

I’m in love with a fairytale,
even though it hurts
‘Cause I don’t care if I lose my mind
I’m already cursed

She’s a fairytale
Yeah…
Even though it hurts
‘Cause I don’t care if I lose my mind
I’m already cursedAlexander-Rybak-Norway

Prevod na srpski

Bajka

Pre mnogo godina, kad sam bio mlađi,
Nekako mi se sviđala jedna devojka koju sam znao.
Ona je bila moja, i bili smo zaljubljeni
To je bilo onda ali sada je tačno da

Zaljubljen sam u bajku,
Iako to boli
Jer nije me briga ako izgubim razum

Zaljubljen sam u bajku,
Iako to boli
Jer nije me briga ako izgubim razum
Već sam proklet.

Ona je bajka
Da…
Iako to boli
Jer nije me briga ako izgubim razum
Već sam proklet.

  1. GOOD SONG but my favourite is Turkey Dum Tek Tek. It wasn’t also as catchy as Azerbaijan! ohh boy but his cute though….. mmm..Also the dancers were very weird what are they doing all over the floor.

  2. it’s such a bittersweet song! He seems so positive, when the story is leading half-way to hell he just sings about how they will get “a second chance” when they meet again 🙂
I know it’s really mainstream to love this song, and I swear I’m not on regular bases, but I just can’t help it. Besides, I’m actually thinking about the song, not the singer 😉

  3. ben turkeyliyim ama bence norweyyyyyyyyy daha guseldi I like norway I love you alexander sizleri çok sewiyorum ben sanırım alexander ‘e aşık oldummmmmmmmmmmmm I love you norweyyyyyyyyy I love you alexander

  11. I’m in love with a fairytale, even though it hurts. ‘Cause I don’t care if I loose my mind. I’m already cursed.
ALEXANDER IS A FAIRYTALE YEAH! 😀

  12. Again me…
I want him to teach me how to play wiolin and how to sing well. He is so talented. He is an amazing boy. An example of being an unexeptionable person. Also he has got meaningful look, eyes. I am only 11 years old. But I have got that much good feelings to a person that is 12 years older than me. I hope that he will reach the highest place in his career and never fall down. He is young. He has got many years to live. And I want him to stay healthy. Because if something bad will happen to him, I can’t live… He has got a lot of fans. And it shows how a good person he is. If I am going to write more about my feelings about him, there will be not enough place to put my comments. Really…

  13. BEST SONG EVER!!! this song is my favorite. melody is wonderful, violin is wonderful, alexander’s voice is wonderful and he is WONDERFULL! he got the highest point in the whole eurovision! and he break the record! I think he deserves being the winner. he is so cute and handsome. (isn’t he?) he is the cutest guy that I’ve ever seen!!! I really want him to come to Turkey. he is always on my mind and always in my heart. I can’t forget him! (that’s not a problem, I don’t want to forget him) Hadise was good too but ALEXANDER was the best! ALEXANDER RYBAK 4 EVER!!!

  14. this song is wonderful,i love it,and alexander is the best,i’m glad that him is the winner of eurovision 2009.

  15. what a lovely song!!!!!! Alexander is the cutest and the most lovely boy in the the hole contest!!!!!! I think I’m in love with him…:-P
But I also really like Iceland’s song!!! This girl is so beatiful. And Greece’s song isn’t that that bad…..

  16. Thank you for that Leyla! You are so right 🙂 Dima didn’t make me believe but, this year, magic won! : )

    Here’s Astrid Lindgren – Tribute

  17. Love him:p~ :p~ he is sooooooooo SEXY n the song is so cute 🙂 If the song was written about me then I would so go back and find him(in the song it says I cannot find her!!):D

  18. At the moment I heard this song I knew it was going to win 🙂 It’s just perfect: music, dance and Alexander singing beautifully, even tough lyrics are not the most intelligent 😀 Congratulations from Poland, especially when I think about last Norway’s song, I voted for “Hold on, be strong” because it was a great song too, so I’m really happy that this time Norway won!

  19. cyprus love very much this song, for my opinion the lyrics wasn’t the best but the music was fantastic….C0rgatulati0n…!!!

  20. Opps, I was confused. It is not Selma Lagerof, but Astrid Lindgren who is another Swedish female author. I told you I was old ;-))
