Ne pitaj zasto te ko sjena pratim
ne pitaj kad to ni sam
ne mogu da shvatim
nije me strah smrti ni starosti
al’ drhtim od tvoje mladosti
Ref.
Ja imam te, a ko da nemam te
samoca pece kao buktinja
bez tebe dani su kao pustinja
Ja imam te, a ko da nemam te
kad tuga me ko granu savije
jedan pogled tvoj nadu podgrije
Sve lazi tvoje ko paucina
plele se, plele na sto nacina
slaba sam na tebe, sve dzaba je
na sve ovo srce pristaje
English Translation
I Have You, But It’s Like I Don’t Have You
Don’t ask why
I follow you like a shadow
Don’t ask because
I can’t figure that out
myself
I’m not scared of death nor of old age
but your youth makes me shiver
I have you, but it’s like I don’t have you
loneliness burns like fire
without you, days are like desert
I have you, but it’s like I don’t have you
when sorrow bends me like a branch
one glance from you gives me hope
All your lies like cobweb
spinning, spinning in one hundred ways
You make me weak, it’s all in vain
this heart will accept everything
Not easiest, because it`s quite difficult to trace the lyrics and translation simultaneously.
(Long lines in lyrics can be divided in two (or more) lines, with appropriately formatted extra lines.)
(It`s preferable to add the option “translation next to the song lyrics”.)
If I understood you correctly, the option was considered but it’s not always possible due to long lines in lyrics so I decided it’s neatest (and easiest) to present the translations this way.
It`s better not to refuse to write the translation next to the song lyrics, isn`t it?
